Adding Marketplace Businesses

1. To access the Marketplace Manager, place your mouse over the Administration tab at the top of your screen.
2. To add a new business to the Marketplace, click on the Add button.

3. The Create a New Business Listing screen opens.
4. In the Business Details section, fill in the following fields, the fields with an asterisk (*) are required:

5. Type the name of the business in the Name* text box
6. You can add a slogan to the Tag Line this will display under the photo in the business listing on the Marketplace home page.
7. Type the Address Number, Street Direction, and Street Name in the Address Line 1* text box
8. Type a Suite Number or Building Number, if applicable in the Address Line 2
9. Type the City in the City* text box.
10. Click on Drop_down_arrow and select the State from the list.
11. To enter a Country other than USA, click on Drop_down_arrow and select the country from the list.
12. Type the Zip Code in the Zip Code* field The last four numbers are not required
13. A company logo or a photo of the individual business owner added displays in the Marketplace Home business listing. The photo should be 90 pixels by 90 pixels. For reference, 72 pixels equal 1 inch.

14. To add a Photo, click on the Browse button.

15. The Choose File dialog box opens. Navigate to the photo on your computer.

16. Click to highlight the photo you would like to use.
17. Click on the Open button. The file location populates in the text box to the left of the Select button.

18. The Summary does not display on the site, it is for reference only.
19. The Year Established field is an optional field and does not display if left blank.
20. In the Website URL field, type in the website address for the business. For example, www.mybusiness.com
21. The Website Link Text is the text that will be displayed for the website hyperlink instead of the actual website address. For example, http://www.companyabc.com might be replaced with Company ABC. If this field is left blank, the text entered in the Website URL field will be used.

22. In the Description: field, enter a detailed description of the business you. You can change the font color and size and add pictures. Click here to learn more about formatting the Description field.
23. In the Start Date field, type the month, day, and year the Business Marketplace ad will begin. You can click on the calendar icon, and select the date as well.
24. In the End Date field, type the month, day, and year your Business Marketplace ad will end. You can click on the calendar icon, and select date as well. You can also choose This Business Never Expires.
25. Click on Drop_down_arrow to select the Membership Level from the list. This is determined by the contract the business signed with the community
26. Click on Drop_down_arrow to select Yes or No in the Active List. If you select No, the Marketplace ad will not display on the Marketplace Home page.

27. In the Contact Details section, fill in the following fields:
28. Type in the business contact name in the Contact Name*: text box. This is a required field.
29. Type in the contact information in the Business E-Mail, Phone and Fax text boxes, these are optional fields.

30. Click on the Save button to save the ad, or the Cancel button to discard your changes and close this page.
